The shortlist for the Travel Media Awards 2026, in association with Aspire Pre-Flight Hospitality, has been revealed, recognising the very best of travel media across the UK.

This year’s finalists span 24 categories, representing the breadth of the industry — from consumer and trade media to broadcasting, photography, content creation and specialist travel writing.

Celebrating excellence in travel media

Launched in 2015, the Travel Media Awards are widely recognised as the premier awards event for UK travel media and the only national awards dedicated exclusively to recognising editorial excellence and achievement across all forms of travel media.

Now in their 12th year, the awards celebrate the writers, broadcasters, photographers, content creators and publications shaping travel storytelling today, bringing together leading figures from across the industry each year.

This year, broadcaster, journalist and author Anita Rani will receive the Special Contribution Award, recognising her outstanding contribution to travel media and storytelling throughout her career.
