25 September 2015, London: The Travel Media Awards 2015 are pleased to announce that the finalists can now be viewed on the website – www.travelmediaawards.g2.wmclients.co.uk/finalists
The Awards received over 500 submissions from across the travel media sector before closing for entries in July. Entrants included consumer and trade magazines, national newspapers, broadcasters, regional titles, travel writers and photographers. A panel of over 50 travel industry and media experts then narrowed the field down to a shortlist of four or five in each category.
Co-organiser Giles Harper, managing director of Travega, said, “The inaugural awards have received superb support from across the travel media sector and we’d like to thank all those who entered. The standard of submissions was high and the decision-making process has proven very difficult — but with the help of our expert judging panel, we’re confident our finalists represent the very best of the travel media.”
