24 categories. One night to remember. Free to enter.
Travel Media Awards 2026 is open for entries — and whether the work is a long-form feature, a podcast, a photography series or a niche blog, there's a category for it.
Free to enter across 24 categories, the awards celebrate outstanding travel journalism, photography and broadcasting across print, digital, audio, video and content creation. The Travel Media Awards is in its 12th year and the search is on for the best work published between 1 May 2025 and 30 April 2026.
Why enter
From national newspapers to specialist publications, the awards recognise quality and creativity across the full spectrum of travel media. Entering puts work in front of a respected panel of editors, commissioners and industry leaders — and being shortlisted or winning opens doors to new commissions and career opportunities. There's also a place in the Travel Media Awards alumni of past winners and finalists, a community that spans over a decade of the best travel journalism in the UK.
Who can enter
The awards are open to all — freelancers, staff writers, editors, broadcasters, bloggers, vloggers, podcasters and photographers. Entries can be submitted as an individual, on behalf of a publication or as a brand.
What's being judged
Across 24 categories, the awards cover everything from long-form features and photography to sustainability-focused content, trade media and digital innovation. Work is judged on originality, creativity, relevance, quality of writing or production and overall impact.
