The Travel Media Awards 2026, in association with Aspire Pre-Flight Hospitality, celebrated the very best in travel journalism, broadcasting, photography and content creation, recognising the exceptional talent, creativity and storytelling that continue to shape the UK travel media industry.

This year’s awards brought together leading figures from across the industry for a prestigious evening at The Savoy, London, on Monday 26 October.

With 24 categories spanning consumer and trade media, specialist travel writing, broadcasting, photography and digital content, the awards recognise outstanding editorial achievement across the industry.

Congratulations to all our winners, highly commended entrants and finalists, and thank you to everyone who entered and supported this year’s awards.

Celebrating excellence in travel media

Established in 2015, the Travel Media Awards are widely recognised as the UK’s premier awards dedicated exclusively to editorial excellence and achievement across all forms of travel media.

Now in their 12th year, the awards continue to champion the writers, broadcasters, photographers, content creators and publications whose work informs, inspires and connects audiences with the world.

Each category is judged by a distinguished panel of travel industry professionals and senior editors, ensuring a rigorous, independent and fair selection process. At least 25% of judges are new each year, and no judge reviews the same category in consecutive years.

Special Contribution Award 2026

Anita Rani

This year’s Special Contribution Award recognises broadcaster, journalist and author Anita Rani for her outstanding contribution to travel media and storytelling throughout her career.
