Each category is judged by a panel of three people with at least one travel industry person and one travel editor or travel writer judging each category, carefully screened for any conflict of interest.

Since the awards began, it’s been our policy to ensure no single judge judges the same category two years running, something we know entrants to the awards recognise and appreciate. A minimum of 25% of judges are new to the awards each and every year.
